WARRANTY POLICY

Title: Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy explains the coverage for prefab homes purchased from prefabia.store and manufactured for PREFABIA LLC.


1. Overview of Warranty

  • Each home comes with a 9-month limited warranty from the date of delivery to your site.
  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the structural elements and supplied components of the home, under normal residential use.

This warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, any rights you may have under applicable law.


2. What Is Covered

Subject to the terms below, the warranty covers:

  • Structural frame and wall panels against manufacturing defects;
  • Roof structure and insulated panels against manufacturing defects;
  • Factory-installed doors and windows, subject to normal use and proper installation;
  • Factory-installed interior finishes, flooring and cabinets supplied as part of the original specification;
  • Electrical systems supplied with the home (for example, wiring, breaker panels, outlets) designed for USA voltage, when installed by qualified electricians following applicable codes.

3. What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Any physical damage occurring after delivery, including dents, scratches, cracks, breakage, impact damage or misuse;
  • Damage caused during unloading, lifting, installation or assembly by third-party contractors;
  • Damage resulting from improper or insufficient foundation, poor site preparation, unstable soil, or failure to follow foundation and installation guidance;
  • Damage caused by incorrect or unsafe utility connections (electricity, water, gas, sewer) or by unqualified contractors;
  • Damage caused by lack of maintenance, neglect, abuse or use outside intended residential purpose;
  • Normal wear and tear, minor cosmetic imperfections, colour variations or natural material changes;
  • Damage caused by extreme weather events, floods, storms, earthquakes, wildfires or other acts of God;
  • Any modifications, alterations or additions carried out after delivery without our approval.

4. Warranty Conditions

The warranty applies only if:

  • The home was purchased directly from prefabia.store or an authorised sales channel;
  • The home has been installed on a suitable foundation designed by qualified professionals and in accordance with our guidelines and local code requirements;
  • All installation and utility connections were performed by licensed professionals where required by law;
  • You notify us of the alleged defect within the warranty period and provide adequate evidence (photos, reports, etc.).

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Email support@prefabia.store with:
    • Your name and contact details;
    • Order number and delivery date;
    • Address where the home is installed;
    • Detailed description of the issue;
    • Clear photos and, if available, reports from installers or inspectors.
  2. Assessment
    • We may request additional information or arrange a remote or on-site inspection (where feasible).
    • If needed, we may engage engineers or technicians to review the defect.
  3. Resolution
    • If a defect covered by this warranty is confirmed, we will, at our option:
      • Provide replacement parts or components;
      • Provide repair instructions or support to local contractors;
      • Offer a partial refund; or
      • In rare cases, replace the affected module.
    • Our liability is limited to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of the defective part, not including consequential damages or external costs (for example, crane rental, labour costs of local contractors, temporary accommodation).

6. Transferability

  • This warranty is provided to the original purchaser and may not automatically transfer to subsequent owners unless we agree in writing.

7. Relationship to Other Policies

This Warranty Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy. In case of conflict, any mandatory consumer law protections will prevail.
