1. Where to Start

Decide your size:
1 BHK, 2 BHK or 3 BHK
20ft, 30ft or 40ft units (depending on the model)
Check your local rules:
Zoning regulations
Foundation and permit requirements
Utility connections (power, water, sewage)
We always recommend confirming local regulations with your city/county or a local contractor.
2. Choosing the Right Home
When comparing our models, consider:
Number of people who will live in the home
Plot size and access road width (important for delivery truck access)
Bathroom and kitchen needs
Budget, including installation and site works (foundation, utilities, etc.)
Whether you may expand later with additional modules

3. Site Preparation Basics
Prefab homes arrive largely completed, but the site must be ready:
Clear and level ground
Foundation prepared as per engineering requirements (concrete pads, blocks, piers or slab – depending on your installer)
Access route for the delivery truck and lifting equipment
Space for crane / forklift if required for positioning the unit
Prefabia provides delivery on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis to your specified location, but unloading and installation are not included and must be arranged separately by you with a local contractor.
4. Utility Connections
You will need local professionals for:
Electrical connection (compatible with USA standards – typically 110V/220V)
Plumbing and drainage connection
HVAC installation (if not pre-installed)
Our homes are designed as “USA ready” from the electrical side, but final connections must follow local codes.
5. Delivery Day Tips
Make sure the site is fully prepared before scheduling delivery.
Confirm that access roads are clear and strong enough for a heavy truck.
Have your installation / crane team ready on the same day, if possible.
Inspect the exterior and interior on arrival for any visible transport damage and record it (photos/videos) before installation.
6. After Delivery & Support
Once the home is delivered and installed:
Register your purchase and warranty details (keep your invoice and order ID).
